Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Search Engine Optimization Specialist at OKtimize SEO Expert in Kuala Lumpur. The specialist will be responsible for keyword research, SEO audits, link building, web analytics, and on-page SEO to improve website visibility and rankings.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement advanced SEO strategies to improve website visibility and organic search rankings.
  2. Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and content optimization.
  3. Perform technical SEO audits and collaborate with developers to fix on-site issues.
  4. Optimize website architecture, content, linking strategies, and other factors to improve SEO positions.
  5. Monitor and analyze website performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and others.
  6. Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
  7. Manage on-page and off-page SEO efforts, including link-building campaigns.
  8. Develop and execute content strategies aligned with SEO objectives.
  9. Work closely with the content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented.
  10. Provide SEO training and guidance to team members as needed.
  11. Generate monthly reports and suggestions for improvements.

Job Requirements:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in Keyword Research and On-Page SEO optimization.
  3. Strong background in conducting SEO Audits and analyzing Web Analytics to drive actionable insights.
  4. Demonstrated expertise in Link Building strategies and execution.
  5. Proficient in using various SEO tools and platforms (e.g., Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.).
  6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
  7. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
  8. Hands-on experience managing SEO for e-commerce, B2B, or SaaS businesses.
  9. Familiarity with both local SEO and international SEO best practices.
  10. Possession of relevant certifications such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, or HubSpot SEO Certification is a plus.
