We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Associate - Business Analyst. Reporting to the Director, Funds Services this full-time and permanent position is based in Johor Bahru and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our fund services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Set up and maintain static data on Vistra and client systems.
  2. Assist in data cleansing on systems when required.
  3. Monitor and redirect all client and investor requests and queries to relevant Vistra teams and locations for request resolutions; follow up and ensure completion of all requests and queries received.
  4. Upload investor reports on the system for release and perform a self-review.
  5. Maintain details of work completed to allow KPI reporting.
  6. Compliance with internal policies and procedures and adherence to relevant procedure manuals.
  7. Any other duties that may be considered appropriate by your line manager.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of one year of experience in operation support, process improvement, project coordination, or a related role.
  2. Experience in the accounting field will be a plus.
  3. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  4. Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
  5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  6. Able to overcome adversity/resistance to change and influence others to drive the highest results.
  7. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and manage changing priorities.
  8. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  9. Very good team player with distinctive communication skills and high interpersonal competence.
  10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  11. Capability to proactively figure out next steps and break through stalemate situations.
  12. Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
  13. Good knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  14. Possess good communication skills both written and oral, strong stakeholder management skills.
  15. Demonstrated ability to learn and understand complex software tools and data models.
  16. Possess fund accounting knowledge and be familiar with Investran or Salesforce.
