Chief Operating Officer

Christo's Group is a start up fast-casual restaurant company that prides itself on delivering exceptional flavour and experiences. We are on a mission to redefine the market we serve by setting new standards for quality, service, and customer satisfaction. As we embark on our next growth phase involving scaling our footprint, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced COO to join our team and drive our operations forward.

Overview

You will be the right hand to the CEO, responsible for translating the Groups philosophy and strategies into high-performing execution, ensuring that all departments are aligned and efficient. You will be the driving force behind organisational scale, operational excellence, and team cohesion, guided by our company mission, values, and culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Execution: Work closely with the CEO to define and execute the company's strategic plans, ensuring all goals are met with precision and efficiency.
  • Operational Management: Own our overall operations system across all departments, ensuring processes and procedures are in place and functioning optimally.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and hold the team accountable for achieving measurable results, fostering a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement.
  • Project Management: Ensure all projects are executed and delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, leveraging tools to maintain project oversight.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between the CEO and the organisation, facilitating effective communication and ensuring alignment on priorities, goals, and execution plans.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise, using data-driven decision-making to maintain operational excellence.
  • Performance Monitoring: Manage scorecards and KPIs across all departments, ensuring that each team member is clear on their responsibilities and performance expectations.
  • Growth Facilitation: Support the CEO in identifying and pursuing new growth opportunities, including reaching unit expansion goals and new product development.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a COO or similar in a fast-growing company, ideally within F&B.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills with a track record of building and scaling operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a data-driven mindset.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience leveraging project management tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to distill complex information into actionable plans.
