Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Execute audit assignments with significant data analytics requirements, participating in the end-to-end audit process.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to obtain continuous data from various data sources and maintain a suitable continuous auditing platform. Implement adequate data governance activities to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the stored data.
  • Design and develop data visualisation dashboards for continuous auditing and internal reporting.
  • Analyse audit requirements and develop audit automation solutions using applicable technologies e.g. data analytics tools, RPA, AI.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure internal control findings from continuous auditing/audit analytics are remediated.
  • Participate in continuous quality assurance and improvement programs to ensure compliance with the International Standards.
  • Support the Head of Section and the Head of Internal Audit in executing ad-hoc and advisory requests, including other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or Finance-related discipline.
  • 5 – 7 years of relevant working experience in areas spanning across analytics, with preference given to candidates with audit analytics, risk, and governance experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and able to perform highly complex analysis using one or more analytics tools/languages such as ACL, IDEA, SQL, PowerBI, Python, etc.
  • Experienced in scripting for data analytics and internal control testing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and able to work independently.
  • Good command of English, time management skills, and ability to work towards meeting deadlines.
