About the Role

As a PMO Analyst, you will play a key advisory and leadership role, working closely with the Head of PMO. You will be responsible for project governance, financial oversight, reporting, and process optimization, ensuring projects align with business objectives. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, hands-on experience in project management, and proficiency in reporting and automation tools.

Project Governance & Coordination

  • Work closely with the Head of PMO to oversee project governance, compliance, and best practices.
  • Ensure proper documentation, risk tracking, and adherence to project management methodologies.
  • Support project managers with documentation reviews, sign-off tracking, and governance compliance.
  • Manage project dashboards and tracking mechanisms to provide real-time insights into project health.

Project Financials & Review

  • Assist in financial reviews with project managers, ensuring alignment with budget and revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with Finance to manage project financial tracking, including unbilled revenue and billing requests.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on project financials, revenue forecasting, and margin improvements.
  • Address Finance-related concerns regarding project financials and revenue recognition.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare and manage executive-level reports, including MBR (Monthly Business Review), project status reports, and RAG (Red-Amber-Green) reports.
  • Develop and automate reporting processes using Power BI or other analytical tools.
  • Deliver insights through data visualization to support strategic decision-making.
  • Track project pipelines and performance metrics, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Process Improvement & Automation
  • Proactively recommend and implement process improvements to enhance PMO efficiency.
  • Identify automation opportunities to streamline reporting, documentation, and governance processes.

Lead initiatives to enhance project management methodologies and tools

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, IT, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a PMO role or as a Project Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, PMI, or PRINCE2).
  • Experience in project financial tracking, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Advanced analytical skills with experience using Power BI, Excel, or other data visualization tools.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) – Highly desirable.
  • Experience working in a consulting environment is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint Administration is a plus.
