We support flexible working requests and have adopted a hybrid approach for most of our office-based roles. We ask employees to be present in the office at least three days per week.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. The incumbent will support the end-to-end hiring process for operational, technical, and business functional roles for the 2GW Project, based at site in Johor, Malaysia.
  2. Helping build strong talent pipelines for our Company's current and future hiring needs.
  3. Communicate regularly with the ETP HRBP team to get a clear view of the Company's hiring needs and organisational goals.
  4. Support interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews.
  5. Maintain regular reports on key talent acquisition metrics.
  6. Prepare job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position's requirements.
  7. Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities.
  8. Organise and attend job fairs and recruitment events as appropriate.
  9. Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates.
  10. Proactively seek market intelligence to gain competitive advantage in attraction, assessment, and sourcing methodologies.
  11. Suggest new ideas for improving recruitment activities.
  12. Research recruitment trends in the O&G industry.
  13. Work closely and collaboratively with the Talent Acquisition coordination team in Chennai at all stages in the hiring lifecycle.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  1. Good understanding of recruitment practices in Malaysia.
  2. Knowledge of standard hiring practices, recruitment metrics, interview techniques, and management systems and approaches.
  3. Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks.
  4. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, and able to handle multiple projects.
  5. Have a keen eye for detail whilst being results-oriented and able to stay calm under pressure and in uncertainty.
  6. Able to form strong connections with others, earning their trust, and hence being able to influence even the highest level of management in the business.
  7. Proactive approach to HR and Talent Acquisition as a value-add function.
  8. Experience in Talent Acquisition and Recruitment.
  9. O&G / energy sector experience is preferred.
  10. Having previously worked in a multinational organisation would be an advantage.
  11. Having worked alongside an HR Shared Service would be helpful.
