Based in the vibrant city of Kuala Lumpur, this full-time position will see you spearheading the development of innovative and compelling travel packages that cater to the diverse needs of our customers.

What you'll be doing

  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and customer preferences in the inbound travel segment
  • Develop and curate unique travel itineraries and packages that showcase the best of Malaysia and the surrounding region
  • Negotiate with suppliers, including hotels, transportation providers, and activity operators, to secure the best rates and experiences for our customers
  • Work with the Sales team, Online Department, and other teams to design packages to drive sales revenue
  • Monitor product performance and customer feedback, and make data-driven adjustments to continuously improve our offerings
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, visa requirements, and other relevant developments to ensure compliance
  • Mentor and support the product development team to foster a culture of innovation and excellence
  • Ensure products are uploaded into the system and communicated to all other departments/clients
  • Attend relevant travel trade shows and industry functions for relationship building and market intelligence to develop products
  • Conduct regular training/briefings to relevant departments on any new products/services
  • Carry out any other job functions assigned by management from time to time

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry, with a strong focus on inbound travel product development
  • Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills to work effectively with suppliers
  • Proven ability to analyse market trends, customer insights, and data to inform product development decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present and promote our travel offerings
  • Familiarity with the Malaysian tourism landscape and a deep understanding of the local culture and attractions
  • A passion for travel and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness, good organizational and multitasking skills
  • Meticulous and able to work under pressure
