This issue was really exacerbated through the pandemic, as many of you may understand with the lock downs, it was difficult for businesses to ship and transport goods to the locations they needed and keep track of them at the same time.

So after this period, we saw a big uptick in organizations that started to digitize. And this is how Aratum really started growing very quickly across the world. Currently, we support customers across over 25 countries. Focused on warehousing, shipping, trucking, couriers and carriers, retail and wholesale distribution and more recently healthcare. Aratum has become the backbone for a lot of these businesses as they transform themselves digitally.

The Role

Department: Project Management Office

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager / Business Analyst to join our Project Management Office. This multi-functional role is critical in managing projects related to our warehouse, order, inventory, and transport software solutions. The ideal candidate will primarily engage with external customers to understand their requirements, document those needs for internal developers, and manage the implementation process. Proficiency in reading and speaking Chinese and English is required for effective communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement:
  • Act as the main point of contact for external customers to gather and clarify their requirements effectively.
  • Build strong relationships with clients to ensure ongoing communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Documentation:
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, user manuals, and internal reports.
  • Ensure that documentation is clear, concise, and accessible to both developers and clients.
  • Project Management:
  • Oversee the implementation of software solutions, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop project plans that outline scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables, while aligning them with customer needs.
  • Collaboration with Development Teams:
  • Clearly articulate customer requirements to internal development teams, ensuring effective implementation of the agreed-upon features and customizations.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and technical teams to facilitate smooth communication and workflow.

Ideal Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management or business analysis
  • Working experience in warehouse or logistics industry is an advantage
  • Proven experience in managing customer-facing projects and effectively communicating requirements to development teams.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes and software solutions utilized in warehouse management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
