Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Executive to be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The successful candidate will assist in financial closing, regulatory reporting, GST / VAT reporting and Finance projects for BHSI Branches in Asia Middle East.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Journal Entries, Bank Reconciliations and Balance Sheet Schedules.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements.
  • Prepare regulatory returns and ensure compliance to regulatory timelines.
  • Assist in GST and VAT reporting.
  • Assist in Finance projects like e-Invoicing.
  • Work closely with other teams within the organization to achieve business goals.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • University degree in Accounting or ACCA.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Finance.
  • Candidates with demonstrated stable growth within an organisation would be viewed favourably.
  • Proactive and possess good problem solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
