Job Description

A Business Analyst is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating key metrics of the program and ensuring that adequate support is provided to the team to achieve their targets through reporting, opportunity and risk analysis and recommending improvements to processes.

Role Description:
  • Deliver timely business updates and support Program/Sales Manager in people and program checkpoints.
  • Develop a BI Portal with relevant reports to track key metrics to help the team achieve its targets.
  • Provide reporting and business analysis support for the team, ensuring that the team's bandwidth is spent on customer engagements.
  • Leverage data to derive business insights and provide inputs and suggestions to the sales teams.
  • Recommend improvements to maximize team productivity and impact.
  • Analyze and report program's agent and partner activities, productivity, and performance KPIs.
  • Coordinate the complete program/campaign performance, planning, and forecast process.
  • Provide quarterly business status reports, forecast vs. actuals graphs, and identify any potential risks.
  • Generate quantitative and statistical business models related to headcount reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and partner performance using MS Excel's data analysis program, statistical and financial functions.
  • Generate Balance Scorecard, Commission Calculator, and Program/Campaign performance-related dashboards/reports.
  • Communicate Program/Campaign's performance/updates and provide in-depth analysis and recommendations to key stakeholders to support informed business decisions.
  • Validate forecast data and manage Profile/Account revisions during CRM tool implementation.
  • Support implementation of program-related projects and ad-hoc tasks assigned by/to management.
  • Gather and review business requirements with partners/stakeholders based across varied geographic locations (APAC Country).
  • Provide business visibility to clients through weekly business reports, including agent productivity, leads & pipeline generation, sales stage & closed achievement.
  • Analyze and manage the portfolio of SMC (Corporate) Accounts covering APAC.
  • Manage customers' portfolios together with sales managers and partners to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Coordinate and interact with the IT team on new system implementation and development.
  • Participate in upper management discussion sessions to work on specific proposals and knowledge gathering.
  • Involve in client demos, presentations, and workshops.
  • Engage in project management activities and status updates (weekly sales reports and status conference calls).
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis or related fields.
  • Advanced technical skills in RDBMS, MS Excel, and DAX.
  • Competency in data visualization tools (MS Power BI / Tableau / etc.).
  • Experience creating insightful dashboards/reports that drive actions.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL.
  • Exposure to SharePoint site management.
  • Exposure to Power Apps development.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Demonstrated fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Ability to document and communicate the results of efforts.
