Based in Penang, the following positions are open for individuals experienced in site supervision roles within construction projects. These roles involve ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements while coordinating with contractors and maintaining accurate documentation.

Senior Inspector of Works

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and enforce HSE compliance as per approved documents.
  • Conduct daily inspections and monitor temporary works for adherence to standards.
  • Check and verify all major temporary work installations as per the approved drawings, design, and specifications certified by a professional engineer.
  • Provide standing supervision for designated critical activities.
  • Supervise Testing & Commissioning activities and validate records.
  • Review technical submissions, including method statements, shop drawings, and material approvals.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years of work experience in Construction, specializing in railway projects or related fields.
Inspector of Works

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with approved drawings, design and specifications.
  • Monitor site activities, including temporary works, and address non-conformances.
  • Provide standing supervision for designated critical activities.
  • Verify that the materials and equipment used align with project standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and testing documentation.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of work experience in Construction, specializing in railway projects or related fields.
Assistant Resident Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising daily construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Conduct site inspections, verify materials' quality, and ensure adherence to safety standards.
  • Issuance of technical-related NCRs & observations and follow-up with rectifications, including verification of closure.
  • Coordinate with contractors to resolve technical issues and maintain progress reports.
  • Examine or witness Testing & Commissioning processes and verify documentation accuracy.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of work experience in Construction, specializing in railway projects or related fields.
Junior Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in monitoring construction activities for compliance with plans and safety standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of site activities, including inspection reports and progress updates.
  • Support the preparation and verification of documentation like RFIs and QC records.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in Construction, specializing in railway projects or related fields.
