About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Email Marketing Specialist to join our team on a part-time, remote basis (two to three days per week) for eight months. In this role, you'll support our email and SMS marketing efforts, ensuring campaigns are executed smoothly and effectively.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (based in Sydney, Australia), you'll work closely with teams across Australia, Malaysia, and India to manage audience segmentation, email templates, and contact suppression. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in email marketing who wants to contribute to a growing business in a flexible, remote role.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Email & SMS Campaigns: Assist with building, launching, and scheduling email and SMS marketing campaigns to engage our audience effectively.
  • Template Creation & Editing: Create new email templates or edit existing ones to align with brand guidelines and campaign goals.
  • Audience Segmentation: Segment contact lists to target the right customers with tailored messaging.
  • Contact Database Management: Maintain list hygiene by suppressing contacts as needed and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Campaign Optimisation: Collaborate with the wider CarClarity team to monitor performance and suggest improvements for ongoing campaigns.

Experience & Skills Required

  • At least two years' experience in email marketing, with a solid understanding of campaign execution.
  • Experience working with Klaviyo is preferred, though familiarity with other email marketing platforms is also valuable.
  • Ability to work autonomously, taking direction on where support is needed while managing tasks efficiently.
  • Proactive and highly organised, with the ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail.
  • English language proficiency is a must, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Technical proficiency, including familiarity with CRM platforms and email marketing tools.
  • Copywriting skills, with the ability to craft engaging and concise email content.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in segmentation, list management, and campaign execution.
  • Adaptability, comfortable working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • Team collaboration, working closely with the marketing team to support ongoing initiatives.
