Product Research & Development Senior Executive

We are looking for an enthusiastic and young individual to join our team as a Product Research & Development Senior Executive.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Identify, evaluate, recommend, conceptualize, source, and develop new products to align with the company's market needs.
  2. Conduct market analysis and consumer trend, customer preferences.
  3. Integrate design considerations and aesthetic factors into research tasks.
  4. Ensure products align with market expectations and trends.
  5. Manage timelines and deliverables for new product launches or other product initiatives.
  6. Responsible product packaging development, including specifications, design, labelling, and product claims, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  7. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure a smooth product launch and post-launch reviews.
  8. Collaborate with suppliers to define product requirements, negotiate business terms, and ensure consistent product quality, profitability, and supply continuity for the company's benefit.
  9. Develop competitive and profitable product pricing strategies.
  10. Communicate with regulatory authority pertaining to product's classification, ingredient checking or product-related issues.
  11. Responsible for application and renewal of product notification, license, advertisement & sales promotion permit.
  12. Conduct in-house and outstation product training to retail staffs.
  13. Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:
  1. Bachelor's degree in food science/nutrition, or related field.
  2. 2-5 years of experience in product development, preferably in health food, or food industry.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  4. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia.
  5. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  7. Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, ensuring effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
