We are seeking a highly skilled Research and Development Manager to lead our product development efforts in the snack category. As an Assistant Manager, Research & Development at Mamee, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end product development cycles, ensuring that all products meet quality and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop new product concepts based on market trends and business strategy.
- Lead and manage multiple R&D projects efficiently, working closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Procurement, Production, QA) to ensure project feasibility.
- Evaluate risks in ingredient changes, formulation adjustments, and production feasibility, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining product quality.
- Bachelor's Degree / Master in Food Science/Technology/Nutrition/Dietetics or equivalent.
- At least 5 years working experience in food industry.
- Strong technical understanding of food processing especially instant noodle & food service savoury application.
- Excellent communications, interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Good leadership, customer focus and commercial acumen.
