Manager IT

Manager IT & Cyber Security is responsible for overseeing the IT infrastructure, cybersecurity framework, and digital transformation strategies of RTS Operations Pte Ltd. This role ensures the security, integrity, and efficiency of IT systems to support business operations and comply with regulatory requirements. Given RTSO's role in operating the RTS Link Project, this position is critical in safeguarding IT systems that support cross-border transportation between Malaysia and Singapore. The incumbent is also responsible for implementing next-generation security measures, leveraging AI-driven threat intelligence, zero-trust architecture, and automation to enhance cybersecurity resilience.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop and implement IT policies, strategies, and roadmaps aligned with RTSO's business objectives and the operational needs of the RTS Link Project.
• Establish and enforce cybersecurity measures to protect RTSO's digital assets, incorporating zero-trust security models, AI-driven threat detection, and real-time monitoring to counter evolving cyber threats.
• Oversee the maintenance, security, and optimization of IT systems, networks, and applications supporting the seamless operation of the RTS Link.
• Identify potential IT security risks, implement mitigation measures, and manage incident response procedures, integrating cyber resilience strategies, blockchain-based security solutions, and predictive analytics to ensure uninterrupted service of the RTS Link.
• Ensure adherence to local and international IT and cybersecurity standards, including ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and regulatory requirements relevant to cross-border transport.
• Collaborate with external vendors, government agencies, and internal stakeholders to enhance IT capabilities and cybersecurity resilience, ensuring smooth integration with Singaporean and Malaysian systems.
• Drive digital initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, data security, and business continuity, leveraging cloud security, AI-powered analytics, and IoT security solutions to align with the high-capacity, modern LRT requirements of RTS Link.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the IT and cybersecurity team to ensure high performance and skill enhancement in a cross-border operational setting, fostering expertise in ethical hacking, penetration testing, and security automation.

Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or equivalent.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, CCSP, or equivalent are preferred.
• Certifications in emerging security frameworks such as Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), Cloud Security, and AI-driven Cyber Defense are an added advantage.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT and cybersecurity management, preferably in the transportation or infrastructure sector, with a proven track record in IT governance, cybersecurity frameworks, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, effective communication, and stakeholder management, particularly in a cross-border operational environment.
• Advanced network and security technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, SIEM, SASE), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-native security solutions, enterprise IT systems, ERP, and digital workplace solutions.
