Job Description

Our client is a leading retail chain in the food and beverage industry, seeking an experienced HR Manager to drive human resource strategies and operations for the company.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement the human resources strategy aligned with the company's goals. Design HR department structure and processes to meet organizational objectives.
  2. Manage the HR budget and ensure activities are within budget. Provide professional advice on HR matters in line with local laws and processes.
  3. Establish succession planning processes, assess manpower needs, and manage recruitment strategies while ensuring legal compliance.
  4. Review and analyze roles, salary structures, and benefits systems to ensure competitiveness.
  5. Design and oversee performance appraisal policies and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational goals and staff development.
  6. Develop and implement policies for managing employee relations, addressing conflicts and promoting a positive work environment.
  7. Assess and collaborate with vendors to ensure optimal HR Management Information System solutions.
  8. Keep informed about labor market trends and changes in local HR legislation. Build relationships with HR vendors, recruitment agencies, and HR associations.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
  2. 10+ years of HR experience in retail or hospitality, with 5-7 years in a managerial position.
  3. Proven ability to manage large workforces in a fast-paced environment.
  4. In-depth knowledge of the full HR spectrum with hands-on experience.
  5. Experience as an HR Business Partner in a multinational company preferred.
  6. Proven track record in talent and change management.
  7. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  9. Solid understanding of business needs and departmental roles.
  10. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and observational skills.
  11. Service-oriented with the ability to empathize with others.
  12. Ability to lead, innovate, and create new concepts.
  13. Strong communication and influencing skills.
  14. Independent, proactive, and detail-oriented with a focus on driving change.
