Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park, Kuala Lumpur campus is a large 3-18 school located on a green 20-acre site with excellent facilities and offers a welcoming, inclusive, and stimulating place to work. We are a unique campus, home to Tenby International School, which consists of a Primary, and Secondary School (IPC, National Curriculum for England, CIE, IGCSE and A Level) and a Malaysian Private School, Sekolah Sri Tenby (Malaysian National Curriculum). The campus welcomes over 2000 amazing students, aged from 3 to 18 years and from 38 nationalities; with 1350 attending the international school, 600 of whom will be in the primary school. We have lots of accreditation's just to show the world that we know what we are doing, including being the first school globally to gain full accreditation by the Council of International Schools (CIS), for both TIS and SST schools. We hold the certificates for CIE, IPC, Microsoft, Duke of Edinburgh's Awards and are one of 15 schools in Malaysia to hold the Green Flag Award.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record entries to the correct accounts and cost centers by analysing invoice/expense.
  • Pay vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, scheduling and preparing payments, resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation ensuring credit note is received for outstanding memos, issuing stop-payments.
  • Pay employees by receiving and verifying claims forms and request for advances.
  • Prepare relevant reports required by management and holding company which include monthly utilities statistics, repair and maintenance cost, school trips costing, etc.
  • Perform on timely basis the Bank reconciliation, journal vouchers etc to ensure that they are supported by valid documents for processing.
  • Track and reimbursement of claims and payments relating to school activities & field trips excursion, ensuring all collections are accounted for before releasing of payments.
  • Submit withholding tax on time by sorting out all the relevant document to submit IRB (Form 37A, invoice and payment remittance advice).
  • Assist in the company's audits and taxation matters to ensure the full compliance to reporting deadlines, accounting standards and tax laws, which includes the preparation of relevant schedules to be provided to the auditors and tax agent.

Skills, Qualification and Experience:

  • At least Diploma/Degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • At least 2 years working experience in Accounts Payable or related field.
  • Spoken and written language proficiency (Malay, English and Mandarin)
  • Analytical skills
