Product Designer

Profit Peak is an adaptive operating platform designed to power profitable ecommerce brands globally. We simplify decision-making by automating the translation of insights into action across inventory, customers, and advertising.

As a post-revenue, global venture-funded company, we have earned multiple global awards and equity-free grants. Founded by seasoned entrepreneurs who successfully exited large ecommerce brands, we have leveraged this experience to build a platform that helps brands and retailers scale worldwide.

We have generated significant inbound demand from brands, retailers, and agencies, positioning us for strong growth as we expand our impact in the market. We have two offices in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Sydney, Australia.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Product Designer to join our design team on a full-time basis. As a Product Designer, you will collaborate closely with our founders, lead engineer, and customers to define and deliver intuitive, impressive, and visually appealing experiences. You will leverage your expertise in user-centered design principles and industry best practices to create innovative solutions that align with our product vision and business goals.

The First 30 Days:

We operate at a fast pace, and we expect you to do the same. During your first month, your focus will be on establishing a robust design system for our team of 8 developers. This will enable them to work more efficiently and maintain consistency across projects as they move forward.

What You'll Own:

  • Lead the end-to-end design process, from research and ideation to prototyping and delivering high-fidelity designs for complex features and projects.
  • Collaborate closely with founders, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, translating them into intuitive and visually compelling design solutions.
  • Participate in customer calls to collect insights and feedback, using this information to guide design decisions and future product iterations.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.
  • Define and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI patterns, ensuring consistency and scalability across the product.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a product designer, with a focus on user-centered design methodologies.
  • Experience designing SaaS products, ideally in the data, marketing, financial, or eCommerce industries.
  • A portfolio demonstrating your ability to create exceptional user experiences across various platforms (web, mobile, etc.).
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of design systems, interaction design, and information architecture principles.
  • Proven ability to lead design projects from concept to execution, collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and using data to inform design decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design concepts and strategies.
  • Expertise in analyzing and visualizing data to create intuitive, user-friendly designs.
  • Experience working in an Agile or iterative development environment.
