  • Develop C&S project timelines and ensure alignment with the master project schedule.

  • Propose value engineering solutions to optimize costs while maintaining quality standards.
  • Ensure infrastructure solutions align with sustainability goals, incorporating eco-friendly design principles.
1. Project Planning & Coordination
  • Develop C&S project timelines and ensure alignment with the master project schedule.
  • Coordinate with architects, M&E engineers, planners, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and preliminary assessments for new developments.
  • Provide technical input on land use planning and infrastructure layout.
2. Design & Engineering Management
  • Oversee and review C&S design consultants to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., Jabatan Kerja Raya, Jabatan Pengairan dan Saliran, Local Authorities).
  • Propose value engineering solutions to optimize costs while maintaining quality standards.
  • Ensure infrastructure solutions align with sustainability goals, incorporating eco-friendly design principles.
3. Authority Liaison & Compliance
  • Manage authority submissions and approvals for earthworks, drainage, roadworks, and structural plans.
  • Liaise with local councils, utility providers, and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth project approvals.
  • Ensure all works comply with industry standards, including CIDB, BEM, and DOSH regulations.
4. Construction & Site Support
  • Provide technical guidance to site teams for C&S implementation and issue resolution.
  • Address contractor and consultant queries related to structural and infrastructure design.
5. Risk Management & Problem-Solving
  • Identify potential risks in infrastructure and structural planning, proposing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve engineering challenges in collaboration with consultants and site teams.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience:
    Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
    Minimum 8–10 years of experience in civil & structural engineering, or related fields, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
    Strong experience in C&S design management, authority liaison and construction coordination.
  • Technical Skills:
    Proficient in AutoCAD and project management tools.
    Knowledge of local authority guidelines (JKR, DOSH, CIDB etc.).
  • Leadership and Communication:
    Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to manage teams and liaise with stakeholders effectively.
    Ability to solve problems and make decisions under tight deadlines.
