Job Description
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to verify the functionality, performance, and security of software applications.
  • Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to understand project requirements and provide input on testability.
  • Perform thorough analysis of product specifications to create comprehensive test plans and strategies.
  • Execute automated test suites and analyze test results, identifying defects and areas for improvement.
  • Take ownership of the test automation process, continually optimizing and enhancing automated testing practices.
  • Communicate directly with clients to gather requirements, provide project updates, and address any testing-related issues or concerns.
  • Mentor and guide junior members of the test automation team, sharing best practices and knowledge.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in test automation. Experience with mobile automation testing is a must-have.
  • 1+ year of experience in Katalon Studio.
  • Proven expertise in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  • Strong programming skills (Java, Python).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact directly with clients and internal teams.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience/knowledge of BFSI industry is a plus.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Selenium) are a bonus.
  • Fluent in English, with experience in working directly with global clients.
