**KEY ROLES**
- To carry out research and training within department in the area of Finance and Islamic Finance. Specifically to teach Shariah Audit, Fiqh Muamalat and Islamic Finance Contract, Islamic Financial Legal Framework & Governance, Risk Management in Islamic Financial Institution.
- To teach at undergraduate and postgraduate level in areas allocated by the Head of Section.
- To carry out research and produce publications, or other research outputs.
- To supervise or assist with supervision of undergraduate, taught graduate (Masters) or research graduate (PhD) students.
- To contribute to the development, planning and implementation of a high quality curriculum.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Obtained PhD in Finance / Islamic Finance / Islamic Banking / Shariah Law or equivalent.
- Minimum 15 years teaching and industry experience is preferable.
- A strong research and publication track record are highly desirable.
- Possesses a mature positive attitude and is a good team player.
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills and abilities.
- Technology savvy and willing to learn new teaching methods and strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively and harmoniously with colleagues and students of all cultures and backgrounds.
