About the role

We are looking for an Intern - Accounting & Finance who will be partnering with JK C&C team and support in day-to-day deliverables especially on month-end closing tasks & controls per our ways of working

Office Location: Haleon Petaling Jaya, Plaza33

Title of Hiring Manager: Financial Controller, CH Close and Control

Period of Internship Required: July 2024- Dec 2024 (6 months preferred)

Preferred School/Course of Intern: Open to all disciplines.

You will be required to:

- Participate in completing month-end GL (general ledger) close and reporting of entity’s results to Corporate.
- Responsible in the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, preparation of journal entries and execution of internal control in accordance with Haleon Internal Control Framework.
- Collaborate within the team, stakeholders and other functions (P2P, O2C, Stat & Tax) to ensure successful month-end close.

By joining this internship, you will be able to:

- Obtain high level overview of the close and control-related processes, system and activities.
- Support various month-end closing and controls tasks.
- Learn teamwork and engagement with team members and stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:

- We are looking for someone with the following:_
- Educational background - Degree with Finance / Accounting
- Proficient in use of IT and software/systems such as excel.
