- Acts as a liaison officer to regulatory bodies for licensing, audits, and inspections to ensure successful outcomes
- Keep abreast of latest updates pertaining to the requirements of the law.
- Leads all safety, health and environment audits on the company by regulatory bodies.
- Closely follow-up action plans of the stakeholders by providing advice and assistance to ensure compliance of prevailing OSHA.
- Updates and maintains all legal safety and health related documents, records and reports.
- Identifies, proposes and initiates plantwide mandatory trainings required by the law and the company.
- Supports area managers in Safety, Health and Environmental training and coaching, incident investigation to determine root causes and corrective actions to achieve Zero-Harm vision of the company.
- Promotes and maintains plant safety, encourage safe work practices, and ensure all personnel adhere to Company safety policies.
- Plan, implement, and coordinate programs to reduce or eliminate occupational injuries, illnesses, deaths and financial losses arising from unsafe behavior and condition.
- Identifies potential or actual areas of non-compliance and evaluate corrective action in place to ensure its effectiveness and to prevent recurrence.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Environmental Science or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
- Recognized Diploma with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience
- Certified as Registered Safety & Health Officer of DOSH
- Deep understanding of related legal health and safety guidelines i.e. Occupational Safety &
Health Act, BOMBA Regulations etc.
- Good understanding of OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, and audits processes
- Ability to generate reports with high level of accuracy and strategize action plans to achieve Zero-Harm vision
