A Japanese Yakitori Bar located at Solaris is looking for a professional Executive Chef to overseeing kitchen operation with specification and guidelines.
**Job Role**
Overseeing kitchen’s activities and staffs engaged in preparing food to ensure efficient and maintaining its’ quality in order to enhance customer’s satisfaction.
**Responsibilities**
- Plan and develop unique and cuisine menus
- Direct kitchen staff in meal preparation, creation, plating and delivery
- To carry out food costing and control within budget allocated.
- Monitoring inventory and purchasing supplies and food from approved vendors
- Manage and ensure consistency and quality of dishes.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health & safety.
- Ensure kitchen equipment are in good working conditions
- Hire, train, and evaluate performance of kitchen staff to ensure of skill competency
**Requirements:
- **
- Knowledge and hands on experience in Kitchen management, menu planning and operational skills.
- Experience working in Japanese restaurant is an added advantage
- Strong coaching, mentoring, and leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Mandarin speaking.
- Full time position based Solaris, Mont Kiara
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: RM5,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
