Grinding Supervisor

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.
- Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in grinding operations, preferably in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise and develop a team.
- Strong technical knowledge of grinding processes, equipment, and materials.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to grinding operations.

**The Grinding Supervisor in Surface Treatment Fabrications oversees and manages the grinding operations within a surface treatment fabrication facility. This role involves ensuring the efficiency, quality, and safety of the grinding processes while leading a team of grinding technicians.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate grinding activities to meet production schedules and quality standards.
- Train, mentor, and motivate grinding technicians to optimize performance and skill development.
- Develop and implement grinding procedures, techniques, and best practices to enhance productivity and quality.
- Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and schedule maintenance as needed to minimize downtime.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics, including output, scrap, and downtime.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and quality assurance, to address any grinding-related issues or improvements.
- Enforce safety protocols and promote a culture of safety awareness among the grinding team.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in the grinding operations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards governing grinding operations.

**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
