Operator Grinding

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machining is preferred.
- Proven experience as a machine operator, particularly in grinding operations.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) for quality checks.
- Knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and safety.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift/move heavy materials and stand for extended periods.

**The Operator specializing in grinding operations, is responsible for performing grinding tasks to ensure precise dimensions and surface finishes of materials in adherence to company specifications and quality standards.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate grinding machines according to provided instructions and blueprints.
- Perform grinding operations to achieve desired surface finish, shape, and dimensional requirements.
- Monitor machinery during operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as needed.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance and adherence to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on grinding machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Keep work area clean and organized, following safety protocols and guidelines.
- Report any machinery malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Verify the accuracy of dimensions, shapes, and finishes using precision measuring instruments.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and make adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain records of production quantities, dimensions, and other relevant data.
- Generate reports on completed tasks, machine maintenance, and any incidents.
