**Purpose of the Role**
You will be a key member of the supply chain management team, and will be responsible for leading & coordinating all supply chain management activities in support of the operation team. You will report directly to the supply chain manager and will also be the line manager for the fleet line leader. You will work closely with the operation and management teams.

**Key Accountabilities**
- To lead onboarding process through sample approval, registering new suppliers thru AVL/ASL, mass collection/bulk delivery cost optimization and quality of material.
- To coordinate sample collection from potential suppliers and require R&D support for trial and GO/NO GO approval.
- To review collection and delivery with suppliers and work closely with Fleet Line Leader to draft the driver schedule and execute the plan accordingly.
- To improve Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) through good procurement ethics & policies practices, contract management through negotiation for cost saving for both parties etc.
- Preparing the Monthly Stock Take Report for COGS report with support from Warehouse Supervisor.
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure all internal paperwork submission accordingly and given to the relevant person in a timely manner.
- Work with the FSRA team to ensure all procurement practices are in line with GMP/ HACCP processes.

**Responsibilities**
- Managing internal & external paperwork & communication on related raw materials supply activities including the preparation and processing flow.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals for optimal operation, resources utilization, plan inventory and ensure timely availability of raw materials.
- Onboarding process for new suppliers and maintaining AVL/ASL.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and transporters, ensuring quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Bridging the gap between internal (Management, R&D, Finance, Planning, FSRA, HSE & Production) and external parties (Suppliers, Vendors, Transporters) and to lead the coordination among them.
- Sourcing for alternative suppliers or alternative materials based on operations/R&D requirements.
- Leading the SCM team, which comprises Warehouse & Fleet team to schedule and plan deliveries of raw materials with suppliers and transporters to support the operation team and in line with material planning & storage requirements.
- Implement inventory control measures to maintain optimal stock levels, reduce wastage, and ensure efficient utilization of resources.
- Monitor inventory turnover and lead efforts to minimize obsolete or excess inventory.
- Continuously analyze supply chain processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency.
- Working with the R&D department on price management and Feed Cost Saving Initiatives Project.
- Any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned to you by the management from time to time either within or out of your current scope of employment must perform accordingly.

**Requirements & Person Specifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Technologies or any related field.
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing, using proper grammar and vocabulary.
- Demonstrated expertise of over 5 years in supply chain management, ideally at a senior level, with a background in leading teams within the agricultural, food processing, or any related industries.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, logistics, procurement, and inventory management.
- Strong organizational skills with a very good attention to detail.
- Energetic & industrious individual with a dynamic nature, adept at thriving in situations of change & uncertainty in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools for analysis and optimization.
- Capable of planning, organizing, assessing & overseeing activity schedules while effectively delegating tasks accordingly.
- Exhibit a good attitude and demonstrates interpersonal skills to work with people from different backgrounds.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a dynamic environment.

**Salary**: RM4,000.00 - RM4,800.00 per month
