Tax Assistant Manager

Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other entities.
- Research and interpret tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify tax-saving opportunities.
- Provide expert tax advice to stakeholders on various business transactions.
- Assist in tax planning initiatives to optimize the clients’ tax positions.
- Must be able to lead and manage and supervise a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of tax-related information.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and regulations, assessing their impact on the company's tax strategies and compliance.
- Respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in relevant discipline and/or a professional qualification preferable in the areas of Accounting / Taxation
- At least 6 years of tax experience and be MIA member
- From Big 4 Firms are preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong experience with a variety of tax operations and ability to drive process improvements.
- Must have working experience and knowledge in leading and completing tax assignment entirely such as Tax Computation and Tax Forms
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Must be well versed with latest tax law as per Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri Malaysia guideline
- Ability to carry out Special Job such as Reinvestment Allowance, Transfer Pricing etc. will be an added advantage.
