Assistant Manager, Accounting

Reporting to the financial controller and the** duties and responsibilities** shall include the following:
- Preparation of group financial reporting including consolidation on monthly/ quarterly/ yearly basis
- Perform monthly review and analysis of financial performance of business units, interacting with relevant peers for matters arising and highlighting material issues
- Participate in the Group's annual budget exercise
- Involve in annual audit exercise for the Group and preparation of audited financial statements
- Involve in the fomulation and implementation of the Group's financial policies and procedures, tax planning and compliance matters
- Involve in monitoring of treasury matters such as cashflow, funding requirements, foreign exchange exposure and dealing with bankers
- Liaise with external professionals including auditors, tax agents, lawyers and company secretaries
- Involve in any ad-hoc projects to be assigned and to carry out any duties which may be assigned as and when required
**Requirements**:
- MIA/ACCA/MICPA or any other professionally recognised qualification
- Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in the similar field
- An independent individual who excels at working with mínimal supervision, demonstrates leadership skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, and exhibits strong adaptability and stress-handling capabilities.
