**Key Responsibilities**:
**Inspection and Quality Control**:

- Examine wood materials for defects such as knots, stains, decay, splits, and other irregularities.
- Determine the grade, size, and quality of wood based on established standards.
- Ensure that materials meet the requirements for strength, appearance, and other relevant parameters.
- Use tools such as moisture meters, gauges, and magnifying glasses to assess wood quality.

**Reporting**:

- Document inspection findings, including any deviations or discrepancies.
- Provide timely feedback to the procurement and production teams.
- Make recommendations for material acceptance or rejection.

**Operational Support**:

- Work closely with the storage and handling team to ensure proper care of wood materials.
- Assist in calibrating and maintaining inspection tools and equipment.
- Train and guide junior inspectors or new staff on inspection processes.

**Continuous Learning**:

- Stay updated on the latest industry standards and best practices related to wood and materials inspection.
- Attend workshops, seminars, or courses to enhance knowledge and skills.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in Forestry, Wood Science, or a related field is a plus.
- Prior experience in wood inspection or a related field.
- Knowledge of different wood types, grades, and industry standards.
- Proficient with inspection tools and techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical Requirements:

- Ability to stand, walk, and inspect materials for prolonged periods.
- Ability to lift and handle wood samples and tools weighing up to 50 lbs.

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)

- Wood Inspection: 2 years (preferred)
- Knowledge of different wood types: 1 year (preferred)
- inspection tools and techniques.: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:
