**Mission**

Your mission as a **QA Automation Lead** is to lead the quality engineering team building scalable automation frameworks and tools across the organization to improve Xendit product quality for internal and/or external customers.
**Outcomes**
- Provide hands-on technical and functional input in the area of continuous testing, monitoring, and continuous delivery across multiple products.
- Work with product teams to identify and document risks in their domains (including non functional requirements), ownership of that risk, as well as their approach to testing that risk.
- Build automation scripts, tools and infrastructure to support testing across Xendit.
- Adopt automation first approach when analyzing how systems are to be tested.
- Technical ownership of key automation assets, including roadmaps and technical direction
- Lead and mentor QA Engineers in creating effective test automation frameworks and maintenance and handling change requests of existing automation frameworks.
- Promote a continuous improvement and automation mindset in QA team, product team and in stakeholder interactions
- Evangelist for engineering principles, best test automation practices and industry standards
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure that test outcomes are achieved in the most efficient and effective manner
- Do whatever it takes to make Xendit succeed
**You may be a good fit if**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree
- 8+ years of software testing experience, with at least 5+ years in Automation within an agile and CICD environment
- Experience with JavaScript-based test automation frameworks is must (Specifically: Cypress. Can consider other similar JS/TS frameworks). Atleast 2+ years of experience in JS frameworks.
- Working knowledge of QA automation best practices using BDD frameworks such as Cucumber and Gherkin
- Demonstrated ability in working with automation engineers to help draft and design automation coverage, making it an integral piece in the software development and testing process.
- Working knowledge of SQL syntax for data validation.
- Experience with version control tools such as Github,Bitbucket.
- Self motivated and a self starter and comfortable with task switching
- Experience implementing and testing APIs using Restful, SoapUI etc.
- Experience in performance and/or security testing is a plus.
- Fintech experience is a huge plus
- Working knowledge of code coverage tools, defect tracking systems, test case management systems.
