**Key Responsibilities**:
Establish a Test Automation, Load & Performance test strategy / framework and a set of standards, methodologies, and best practices that ensures improved quality in IT’s releases.
Ensure compliance by defining and implementing a set of measurable QA metrics and KPIs that will demonstrate improvements to the customer experience.
Monitor the performance of QA metrics, analyzing and identifying trends; continuously improving the QA practice.
Develop, execute, and maintain a set of test cases, procedures, and scripts in accordance with test plans defined by project and enhancement requirements.
Provide estimates for assigned testing activities to Project Managers (PMs), BSAs, and IT management.
Lead and manage the execution of test automation activities and documenting test results and defects.
As a hands-on manager, build and lead a QA team of technical QAs for test automation and performance testing.
Establish a set of Test Automation and Performance Test processes and a technology tool to document the test evidence and results.
Define a test automation strategy, processes, and associate capabilities with Edwards enterprise Test Automation tool.
Define a Load & Performance Test strategy, processes, and associate capabilities with Edwards enterprise Load & Performance Test tool.
Define a set of testing best practices for automated performance and load testing.
Participate as a member of the project team to ensure requirements are clearly documented, via traceability to test cases, and testable.
For validated systems, QA Manager will provide needed test script results to SWQA for approval.
Provide input on go / no-go decisions for production releases.
Problem Management / Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

**Education and Experience**:
Bachelor's Degree / Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field is required.
5+ years of hands-on QA as a Test Engineer or Lead.
5+ years of software test manager / leader with experience leading teams of more than 2 in a global distributed model.
Certification in related field Preferred

**Additional Skills**:
**Expert knowledge of QA concepts and methodologies, including**: unit, integration, system, end-user, performance, stress, endurance, non-functional, manual and automated required
Experience in establishing QA processes, best practices and methodologies
Experience with implementing Automated Test strategies, frameworks, and tools
Experience with implementing Load & Performance Test strategies, frameworks, and tools
Experience with specific IT Applications, end-to-end business processes, technologies and functional area(s)
Experience with both Agile (preferred) and Waterfall SDLC (software development life cycle) methodologies
Demonstrated track record in people management required
Experience working in a regulated industry preferred
Proven successful project management leadership skills
Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools and systems
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision making
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
Extensive understanding of IT Applications, end-to-end business processes, technologies and functional area(s)
Extensive understanding of IT procedures while defining team operating standards and ensuring essential procedures are followed based on knowledge of own discipline
Extensive understanding of related aspects of IT processes and/or equipment while ensuring processes and/or equipment are optimal across areas of responsibility
Demonstrated ability to direct IT teams and provide coaching and feedback, including responsibility for all employee actions including hire/fire authority and partnering with HR on all aspects of employee relations
Ability to develop and integrate metrics into the projects and operations that clearly demonstrate the value of IT to the business
Ability to establish and maintain client relationships.
Strict attention to detail
Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization
Ability to work and excel within a fast-paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environment
Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
Works well with mínimal supervision and can prioritize their own as well as their team’s workload efficiently
Experience performing API testing a plus
