Financial Controller

**Financial Reporting**: Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts accurately and in a timely manner.
- **Budgeting and Forecasting**: Develop budgets, monitor financial performance against budgets, and provide variance analysis. Forecast future financial trends based on past data and industry trends.
- **Financial Analysis**: Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
- **Internal Controls**: Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies. Identify and mitigate financial risks.
- **Audit Coordination**: Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits. Provide necessary documentation and explanations to ensure compliance and accuracy of financial records.
- **Cash Flow Management**: Manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs and strategic investments.
- **Tax Compliance**: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
- **Financial Strategy**: Assist senior management in developing financial strategies and policies to achieve business objectives.
- **Team Management**: Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties effectively.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is typically required. A master's degree (e.g., MBA) or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) may be preferred.
- **Experience**: Several years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with progressively increasing responsibilities. Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role is often required.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems is often necessary.
- **Regulatory Knowledge**: Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS). Experience with regulatory compliance and audit processes is beneficial.
- **Analytical Skills**: Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends and insights, and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effectively liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
- **Leadership Abilities**: Strong leadership and management skills to lead a team, prioritize tasks, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- **Attention to Detail**: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
- **Adaptability**: Ability to adapt to changing business environments, regulations, and priorities while maintaining a focus on financial integrity and strategic objectives.
