**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for assisting Finance Manager in planning, directing, controlling and coordinating the activities of Purchasing activities.
- Analyze all purchase requisitions, groceries lists, market lists, etc. based on alternative products and services offered by different vendors, including the prices, the quality, delivery time, after sales services, etc.
- Ensure that PR and PO are properly and efficiently processed according to the hotel policy and procedures.
- Do spot checking of incoming goods to ensure that the quality matches with the required specification.
- Work with suppliers to negotiate contracts for the purchase of required goods and keep accurate records of transactions trends.
- Coordinate with user departments on need of all supplies and equipment to find lowest prices without sacrificing / reducing the quality and right timing of delivery.
- Advise Cost Control and other departments concerning price increases so that the concerned personnel can take the necessary action promptly.
- Proactively recommend new products that may improve quality and efficiency.
- Keep PR, PO, catalogues, and price lists of products and services for future reference and tracing.

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 year of relevant working experience as Purchasing Executive / Officer
- Ability to work under minimum supervision, analytical and a good team player.
- Computer literate and with fair spoken & written English & Bahasa Malaysia.
- Knowledge of relevant purchasing terms, conditions, practices and procedures.
