JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a finished product that's suitable for broadcasting. The material may include camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics and special effects. This is a key role in the post-production process and your skills can determine the quality and delivery of the final product.
- To edit the Programme into an assemble cut according to instructions received from the Director and/or the Company;
- To edit the Programme at the location during the production period as advised by the Company;
- To do the final cut based on the dialogue track provided by the Company integrating the audio tracks for picture and dialogue editing and thereafter to edit the picture and sound in the sequence(s) as directed by the Company;
- To use the audio tracks at 24 frames per seconds (audio tracks) that shall be supplied by the Company. The audio tracks shall be used as a guide to cut the 35mm Programme accordingly;
- To ensure that at the end of the edit, all relevant optical markings as advised by the Director and/or the Company are clearly marked on the final cut for the purposes of producing a final check print including all optical effects. To liaise and work closely with and follow all directions as provided by the laboratory personnel;
- To account for all tapes and ensure that all tapes containing the Programme and rushes are returned to the Company at the end of edit;
- To ensure the final edit of the Programme meets the requirements of the Programme and the Contributor performs its Services to the standards of a first-class editor of international standards;
- To provide the final cut list of the Programme to the Company in order for the Company to submit to the laboratory for the negative cutting as well as optical effects purposes;
- To edit all Material include Digital/TV/ On Ground promo
- To ensure the trailer lock-off is completed to the Company’s satisfaction in order for the Company to produce all promotional material include all platform such other post-production editing work or services as required by the Company from time to time during the Term.
- Graphic Designer for any related Promotional Material for Marketing
- Assist in designing and creating concept for all promotional Material
- Design back ground for additional digital/TV/ On Ground promo
- Assisting design material for digital updates based on weekly thematic for memes/photo/ video.
- Edit, composite and assemble the recorded all materials as per the movie marketing concept and proposition as approved
- To attend all pre and post production discussions, outdoor shootings, rehearsals and live recordings that related to Marketing Promotional Material.
- To advise of all matters material to the production delivery and exploitation of the Programme
- Do all that may reasonably be required to ensure that the creation production and recordings of the Programme shall be of the highest quality
- To attend all discussions, rehearsals, studio recording sessions, portable single camera [“PSC”] for gimmicks, PSC for prizes, training, press conferences and/or prize-giving events as requested
- To interact with guests, consumers, fans and the general public at such locations where the is required
- Attend all functions, events and/or activities in relation to the Programme and the promotion thereof, as well as any other events or functions as determined by the Company including without limitation, rehearsals, promotions and press conferences
- Willingly participate in autograph signing, meet and greet and photography sessions with fans, guests, media and/or press journalists render the Services in compliance with the applicable laws of Malaysia and any rules, codes of conduct and censorship guidelines applicable to television broadcast stations in Malaysia;
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Minimum Bachelor/Degree in related field.
- Fluent spoken and written in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Good scripting skills and writing flair.
- Good visual flair in presenting stories.
- Willingness to learn on the job.
- Familiarity with technology and ability to pickup technical skills quickly.
- Good knowledge of the latest TV and web broadcast technology.
- Meticulous and methodical as well as a good team player.
