**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for preparation of monthly group accounts and ensure the accounts are prepared accurately and timely for reporting to top management and stakeholders.
- To prepare quarterly Group report for Bursa announcement.
- To review the Monthly Management Account report and Executive Management Committee (“EMC”)’s monthly report, annual and semi-annual financial budget of subsidiaries, joint venture and associate companies.
- In charge of preparation of annual audited Group financial statements and Annual Report to comply with the latest MFRS standards and Bursa listing requirement.
- Assist in the coordination of the audit exercise for the Group, both internal and external audit.
- To perform variance analysis for financial performance on Group basis.
- To prepare annual consolidated Group budgets, forecast and planning by liaising with the relevant business units and departments.
- To review and/or prepare subsidiaries’ tax computation and provision on deferred taxation.
- To assist in the corporate exercise of the Group, which include but not limited to liaise with company secretary, investment banker, lawyer, reporting accountant and others.
- To assist in the Group’s corporate tax planning (both direct and indirect taxes).
- To assist in the Group’s treasury management, e.g. dealing with corporate bankers.
- To assist in the coordination with the Risk Management Committee and Environmental, Social & Corporate Governance (“ESG”) Committee.
- Other duties as assigned by the Group Financial Controller and/or top management.
