Deckhand / Pembantu Jurumudi

**JOB PURPOSE**:
The job of a Deckhand (Pembantu Jurumudi) involves performing a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of boats. They must be flexible and capable of handling various cleaning and maintenance-related duties. Their primary responsibilities include keeping the boat clean and facilitating navigation within Port Dickson Port (PDP).

Areas of Responsibility:
1. Lubricating and cleaning machinery.

2. Carrying out simple maintenance tasks.

3. Assisting in mooring operations at JETTY or SBM.

4. Completing other tasks as instructed by the skipper.

5. Utilizing various ropes, knots, radio, and navigational equipment.

6. Assisting during emergencies and effectively using safety equipment.

7. Adhering to safety procedures and complying with the code of safe working practices.

8. Assisting in operations related to mooring, unmooring, and anchoring.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: RM2,300.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
