**SUMMARY OF JOB SCOPE**

Food and Beverage Cashiers are responsible for the ensuring all aspects of the Food & Beverage Outlet sales concerning cash receipt, disbursement and billings are correctly recorded, settled and dropped into the Drop Safe Box according to the standard operating procedure.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Standard Performance / Responsibility**

Maintain and safeguard cash float

i. Check that sufficient small change is available before commencement of shift.

Handling of Officer Checks/ Entertainment and Employee Ledger

ii. All Officer Checks consumed must be signed.

iii. Prepare summary of Officers and Entertainment Checks

iv. Entertainment Checks are approved by General manager

v. Entertainment Checks must be completed and signed by the person entertaining

vi. Correct discounts are given for the various outlets for employee ledger.

Handling of City Ledger/ Guest ledger

i. Correct discounts are applied

ii. Correctly charged to occupants/ rooms

iii. Total guest ledger must agree with micros guest ledger total at end of shift

Shift opening and cashiering procedures

i. Signs in with micros card and print serving period financial report

ii. Keys in guest check no, table no and no of guest.

iii. Cancellation of orders and voiding are as per procedures

iv. Accuracy in settlement of guest checks by different modes (cash/credit card/employee ledger/ room/officer and entertainment checks)

v. Proper credit card procedures are followed

vi. Check validity of credit cards; obtain authorisation and approval from Bank.

vii. Procedures are implemented to prevent skimming of cards.

Report breakdown of Micros system and Credit Card Machine immediately to F&B Manager and Financial Controller.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM1,800.00 per month
