**Job Scope**
- To conduct research, development and troubleshooting activities according to management planning.
- To conduct sampling and fieldworks.
- To conduct laboratory testing according to R&D objectives.
- To conduct investigation and troubleshooting.

**Skills**
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to perform chemical analysis and interpret data accurately.
- Practical communication skills to write technical reports and explain complex chemical concepts to others.
- Attention to detail and accuracy to ensure precision in laboratory experiments and testing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong mathematical skills to perform calculations and statistical analysis for research and development purposes.
- Willing to work shift, based Banting and support Northport lab and meeting at KL office. (Fix Car Allowances is provided) & Banting plant lunch provided.

**Qualification & Experience**

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Applied Chemistry or a related field such as Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Petroleum and Environment.

2 - 5 years working experience in related field such as Waste Management, Energy, Oil & Gas, Tribology, Chemical Processing, Wastewater, Electrochemistry and Photovoltaic Chemistry.

Knowledge in chemical handling safety and health

Proficiency in laboratory instrument such as ICP, GC-MS, HPLC, FTIR, etc.

Proficiency in various reference methods such as ASTM, APHA, IP,

Able to follow instruction and research objectives while work independently.
