**Shift Based Position ( Either Morning/ Evening)**
**Overall purpose**
1.1 The calibration Executive shall be responsible of calibration coordination and Asset Management for all equipment, instruments and general asset within Regional Repair Centre (RRC).
**2 Responsibilities**
2.1Managing the existing stocks for calibration rotation. To ensure that the instrument owners are taking action to release the instruments out for calibration 2 months before the due dates.
2.2 Providing proposal to manager for new investment to facilitate smooth calibration.
2.3 To use Gagetrack to print out labels. To ensure the Asset tags are pasted. Updating and registration of new Asset in Gagetrack.
2.4 Responsible of the accuracy of the data in the Gagetrack. Will need to check on the reliability of the system by initiating Audit requirements for the Quality department.
2.5 Monthly reporting on Instrument repair cost & Spare parts cost analysis for Engineering department.
2.6 Raising IPR for the spare parts or upon request by team leaders. To update the Budget & Expense list for projects.
2.7 Follow up orders & furnishing customs requirement to Trade compliance officer.
2.8 To manage the entire instruments spare & Tester spare parts store.
2.9 To drive the price negotiations with the repair & calibration vendor.
2.10 Arranging for calibration visits to RC & calibration progress statistics to VOSCAL projects.
2.11 Verifying all Cal certs if un-certainty column exist, guard banding exist.
2.12 To send out the supplier requirement documents(MIM) to the calibration vendor. To request for acceptance form the vendor.
2.13 To check the overtime list from Resources provider against attendance list.
2.14 Follow up orders on 1) New Test systems. 2) Used instrument vendors 3) Critical spares 4) Follow up on repair return.
2.15 To decide and propose on new instrument purchase after analysing the Instrument Failure analysis ( Gagetrack will provide all historical failures, cost on repairs, pushing Cal & repair vendor to provide Technical report )
2.16 To be involved in meetings with Asset auditor and Finance department.
2.17 To attend TPI Audit process by Quality team and present valid calibration certs as required by Quality Manager.
2.18 Presenting the Gagetrak active list and sharing knowledge regarding the calibration vendors.
2.19 To send out the gage due list every week to all the owners and include the Team leaders and Engineering manager.
2.20 To send out the Gage finance report every month to the operation support.
2.21 To plan the calibration expiry dates of instruments 6 months apart for instruments of the same model.
2.22 To fill in the calibration vendor lead time monitoring list and use the factors for planning.
**3 Authorities**

3.1 Highlight any non-compliance in terms of Calibration valid dates. Take actions and follow up till actions are closed.

**REQUIRED COMPETENCE**:

- Knowledge in Business administration.
- Several years of experience as a Calibration coordinator.
- Experience in technical Audits on calibration.
- Price negotiation skills.
- Able to present in calibration meetings with vendors and Auditors.
- Good knowledge in Ericsson IT tools
- Good communication skills.
- Good in English writing and convers

**4.3 PROFESSIONAL / TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES**
4.3.1 Well versed in MS Office.
4.3.2 Well versed with the software that is used to manage Asset and calibration management in Repair center.
4.3.3 Well versed in processes and quality standards used in repair

- Ongoing liaison with all HWSD personnel.

- Ongoing liaison with all Repair Center.
- Ongoing liaison with MIM group.

- Ongoing liaison with Vendors for spare parts & Calibration vendors.
- Ongoing liaison with 3rd party Repair Center for spare parts issue.
**6 Reporting**
Responsible to report all activities related to engineering routines as well as additional reporting based on job role activities.
Report to the Engineering manager.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: RM4,000.00 per month
