Technical Solutions Manager

Scope of Position The TSM is accountable for the anticipation, management and delivery of global coherence of the technical solution, in accordance with Airbus and Regulatory procedures, project cost, quality and lead-time requirements. Key Responsibilities -On-site survey/assessment management and repair anticipation. -Survey, Assessment, Repair and upgrading solutions. -Planning, Team, M/H estimation (definition & performance). -Work sharing (with MRO or A/L) and take or buy coordination. -System and Structure inspection program definition & update/adjust. -Removed equipment List Management. -Team composition (engineering, working party, subcontractor, etc.). -Manage and launch third parties (System specialist, NDT, Goods receipt and MRO). -Specific to Repair embodiment and upgrading embodiment. -Planning preparation. -Kits (system & structure parts, tools, consumables, expandable) preparation. -Systems & Structure repair definition management. -On-site project (facilities, scaffolding, tools, planning defects, WOTD, job cards, etc.) management. -Additional work and non-even related tasks management (MPD tasks, AD embodiment). -PDS development, usage and return on experience ROE. -Engineering Dossier delivery and presentation to A/L. -System/Structure/Working party advisor. Job Requirements -Min. Education: BSc in Engineering or equivalent education -Min Experience: 3 years in Aircraft Repair & Maintenance domain. -Flexible to travel for long periods with very short notice. -Familiarity with Aviation Industry and excellent knowledge of Airbus Aircraft -Structures gain through experience. -Experience on the field (aircraft maintenance, repairs). -Knowledge on management of Spares and logistics. -Knowledge on Aviation regulation and legislation. -Project Management knowledge. -Knowledge on all type of structural repairs (cutout, doublers, blending, repair plates, dress out, oversizing, cabin convention and etc. -Service Bulletins Knowledge (understanding and interpretation) -General Knowledge on avionics and system. -Consulting, reading and interpretation of Airbus manuals, Airbus drawings and other Airbus documentation. Other Qualifications/Skills -Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. -Ability to manage situation in a transnational, multi-cultural environment. -Proficient computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel. -Work with short deadlines. -Flexible work schedule including weekends and public holidays. -Dealing directly with the airline/maintenance base when necessary and meeting their requirements while protecting Airbus interests. -Good organization skills including time management, good file and record organization and report writing. -Very good understanding of customer’s needs. -Ability to deal with people (interpersonal skills). -Negotiation skills. -Operational, technical and leadership skills. Ability to work under pressure. -Positive attitude. -Support M1 Trainor, ISO45001 / 14001, 5S and other company initiatives, the responsibility when delegated.
