A full-time mathematics teacher is responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering mathematics lessons to students. They work in educational institutions such as schools or colleges and teach various levels of mathematics, ranging from basic arithmetic to advanced calculus and statistics. Able to teach A level and IGCSE syllabus. Here is a description of the role and responsibilities of a full-time mathematics teacher:
Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive mathematics curriculum aligned with educational standards. Design lesson plans, instructional materials, and resources for each class session, considering the specific needs and abilities of the students.

Lesson Planning: Prepare well-structured and engaging lesson plans that include clear learning objectives, teaching strategies, and assessments. Use a variety of teaching methods, techniques, and technology tools to facilitate student understanding and participation.

Classroom Management: Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning mathematics. Manage student behavior, maintain discipline, and enforce classroom rules and procedures.

Assessments and Grading: Design and administer formative and summative assessments to evaluate student progress and understanding. Provide timely and constructive feedback on student performance. Grade assignments, quizzes, tests, and other assessments fairly and consistently.

Individualized Instruction: Identify and address the diverse learning needs of students by adapting teaching strategies, materials, and assessments. Provide extra support or challenge to students as required. Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students with varying levels of mathematical proficiency.

Technology Integration: Incorporate technology tools and resources into teaching practices to enhance student engagement and learning. Utilize educational software, interactive whiteboards, calculators, spreadsheets, and online resources to supplement instruction and promote mathematical exploration.

Collaboration: Collaborate with other mathematics teachers and faculty members to develop interdisciplinary projects, share best practices, and align teaching approaches across grade levels. Communicate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and address concerns.

Professional Development: Stay updated with advancements in mathematics education, teaching methodologies, and educational technology through professional development opportunities. Attend workshops, conferences, and training sessions to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Extra-curricular Activities: Encourage student participation in mathematics-related extracurricular activities such as math clubs, competitions, and problem-solving groups. Provide guidance and support to students in their mathematical pursuits outside the classroom.

Administrative Tasks: Complete administrative duties such as taking attendance, maintaining records of grades and student performance, preparing progress reports, and participating in faculty meetings and parent-teacher conferences.

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
