Provides overall leadership and guidance to the housekeeping employees, has the authority to hire or discharge, plans and assigns work assignments, gives training for newly recruited employees, audits and inspects housekeeping personal work assignments, and requisitions supplies. Take care of the budget and budget control for the department.
- To have a wide knowledge and understanding of Reservation operations.
- To be thorough on all room categories, and room type understands their differences and unique selling points.
- Always understand the room availability, for future and present dates and block out dates and the current selling strategies.
- Upselling of rooms by selling rooms at rack rates and offering fewer discounted rates, and by selling suites when filling the hotel. Maximizing occupancy by using an over-booking factor.
- Controlling occupancy by watching over-booking factors and wait listings.
- Ensuring that rooms in groups committed are released 14 days before the arrival of groups.
- Checking room commitments for future dates, especially where room availability is low.
- Closing off fully booked dates to all Central Reservation Offices for free sale and monitoring these dates regularly.
- Checking the arrivals list and correspondence and that the two correlate.
- Controlling the suite chart to prevent overbooking of suites.
- Ensuring the productivity and efficiency of reservation clerks by constantly overseeing work done.
- Ensuring that associates are always aware of room availability and do not inform callers that the hotel is full without a directive from the Director of Sales or Sales Manager.

Talent Profile
- 2-3 years of equivalent in Reservation operation experience.
- Strong leadership skills
- People management skills
- Energetic and optimistic mindset.
- Willing to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills
- Immediate Start Work/ Short notice

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
