**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their products, pricing, and delivery capabilities.
- Source, select, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive prices, favorable payment terms, and consistent quality of materials, ingredients, and packaging.
- Review purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders based on approved specifications, quantities, and delivery requirements.
- Collaborate with the bakery production team to determine procurement needs, forecast demand, and maintain optimum inventory levels.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods, resolve any issues, and maintain good supplier relationships.
- Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and changes in regulations or supplier conditions that may impact procurement activities.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives, negotiate volume discounts, and optimize purchasing processes to achieve cost efficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards in all procurement activities.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, supplier performance, and other relevant procurement documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as production, finance, and quality assurance, to align procurement activities with business objectives.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications or qualifications in purchasing and procurement will be an advantage.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Purchasing Executive or in a similar role, preferably within the bakery industry or food manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles, sourcing strategies, and supply chain management.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficient in analyzing market trends, conducting supplier evaluations, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement in Malaysia.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
