Kuantan, Malaysia TIMES-LITE ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING SDN. BHD. Full time

We are looking to hire an experienced lorry driver who will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to our customers. As well as driving trucks and delivering goods, you will also be required to oversee the loading and offloading of goods, cleaning and maintaining the truck, finding the best routes, and maintain good housekeeping in warehouse.

**The responsibilities of this job**:

- Be able to work for overtime (OT).
- Overseeing the loading / offloading of goods and placing them in proper locations.
- Inspecting and cleaning the vehicle.
- Be prepared to collect goods from certain area as per requested.
- To ensure goods are delivered in good condition, without incurring any damage in transit, taking into account any special delivery instructions on delivery orders.
- To immediately advise your superior of any deterioration or damage of goods.
- To obtain customer’s signature and company’s chop as proof of delivery of the order.
- Such delivery orders to be handed back to office immediately upon return to warehouse.
- Safely transporting goods to and from distribution centers. To immediately advise your superior of any circumstances which causes delay in the delivery schedule.
- Obeying the rules of the road and following company safety regulations.
- Finding the quickest and safest route to your destination.
- Completing travel logs.
- Following accident procedures.
- Reporting any accidents or delays or any serious mechanical problems to the concerned
- Conducting minor roadside repairs on the truck.
- To operate and ensure proper maintenance of the forklift.
- Receiving, checking, recording, organising and storing stock as it is received.
- Taking inventories of stock and products, ensuring that they are safely and properly stored.
- Dispatching and loading goods out of the warehouse for delivery.

**Requirements**:

- Know to use WhatsApp, Google App/Waze
- Ability to drive long distances while maintaining focus.
- Self-motivated and able to work without supervision.
- Attentive to details, self-starter with a high level of initiative, strong sense of urgency.
- Punctual, trustworthy and responsible individual with good working attitude.
- Independent and able to work well in a team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM1,600.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
