Test Lead

Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in software testing, including at least 1+ year in a leadership role. - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools, including experience with test automation, performance testing and security testing. - Experience with testing tools such as Eggplant, Appium and Cypress, as well as performance testing and security testing tools. - A strong command of manual and automated testing methodologies and general quality concepts. - Ability to lead and manage a team of testers, including strong leadership and mentoring skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Attention to detail and ability to think critically, with a focus on delivering high-quality results. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues. - Knowledge of agile development methodologies, including Scrum and experience working in an agile environment such as Kanban, SaFe and or LeSS. Job Description - Responsible for ensuring the software products developed meet the highest quality standards and to lead a team of testers and work closely with Product Specialist, Business Analyst, Developers, and other stakeholders to coordinate testing activities, develop and implement test plans, execute tests, identify, and document defects, and manage the testing team. - Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases that meet project requirements and business needs. - Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project objectives, timelines, and requirements. - Prepare and maintain Test Traceability Matrix that can be used by stakeholders to identify relationships between requirements, test cases and test results as a reference points to track testing activities and ensure comprehensive coverage. - Stay abreast of latest test automation, automation tools and frameworks also with new trends, open source, continuous integration, and continuous development. - Quantify, manage, track and report test related statuses, SLA and KPIs, and ensure that defined testing transformation SLA and KPI targets are met for the portfolio accountable. - Establish and maintain test schedules, including planning, execution, and reporting. - Monitor and track defects and ensure that they are resolved in a timely and efficient manner. - Communicate testing progress and issues to project managers and other stakeholders, including identifying and reporting risks and providing recommendations for mitigation. - Participate in project planning and status meetings, providing testing expertise and insights as needed. - Utilize testing tools and technologies to streamline testing processes and improve test coverage, including test automation, performance testing, and security testing. - Continuously evaluate and improve the testing process, including implementing best practices and identifying opportunities for process optimization and efficiency.
