**Position Title: SALES SPECIALIST (KUALA LUMPUR)**

**ROLES DESCRIPTION**:
The Sales Specialist, Sales & Business Development supports all activities of the Commercial Unit and Digital Sales in Malaysia and reports directly to the Director, Sales & Business Development. The individual will be based at our Kuala Lumpur office. He/she support the Director in every facet of the commercial strategies and activities in relation to sales & pricing, marketing and communication, business development, key accounts management, target setting and evaluation, budgets and P&Ls.

He/she collaborates with other business units (Training Centres and Support Services) to ensure optimum customer service experience.

He/she must have a good business acumen and equipped with skills in business development, customer relationship management, key account management, communication skills, and have a hands-on approach in supporting the business from a commercial perspective.

Support in formulating and implementing strategic, analytics and execution of business development and digital sales objectives by forecasting, developing, monitoring and analysing sales performance of local and international market.

**Key Performance Indicators**:
1. Revenue from Safety Training courses, e-Learning and digital platform learning

2. Increase in Training Market Share, New Training Course Development, New Clientele

3. Fill-In Rates for confirmed Training courses

4. Customer Satisfaction Index

5. Cash Collection (support Finance Dept)

**REQUIREMENTS / PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES**

**Academic Qualification & Certification**:

- Possess at least a Degree in Business Administration/Management or any field, preferably specializing in Marketing, Business Development or equivalent.

**Professional Work Experience**:

- At least 3 years of working experience in all aspects of Sales & Marketing, Digital Sales and Business Development.
- Preferably with Learning &Development background and exposure to safety critical industries such as Oil & Gas, Maritime Industries

**Communication/Influencing/Persuasive Skills**:

- Must also have good communication skills both in written and verbal form. Able to influence and persuade others effectively.
- He/she will also need good writing skills in drafting reports, proposals, and recommendations for senior leadership.

**Computer & Technology Skills**:

- Technologically savvy, adapt and possess good computer skills, proficient in the use of CRM software and E-Learning software.
- Proficient in Ms Excel, Ms Office, Ms Outlook, and PowerPoint.

**Other Skills**:
Effective planning, organizing, time management in handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines, result-oriented, multitasker, detail-oriented, proactive, analytical/critical and strategic thinker, high integrity, highly collaborative, ability to learn and adapt quickly, good problem solving skills, ability to remain calm and composed during times of uncertainty and stress.
