**Expected Competency**
- Qualification or/and with 1-4 years of experience.
- Ability to work with computers - knowledge of MYOB is a plus and must know Microsoft Excel as well as data processing skills.
- Good communication skills to deal with people internally as well as with suppliers, shipping agents, courier companies and sometimes government officials.
- Must be capable of working unsupervised in a fast paced environment, must be detail oriented, well organized and able to multi-task. Ability to work as a team player is essential.
- Knowledge of materials, machinery, equipment & general tools.
**Job Objectives Purchasing & Logistic**:
- Ensure purchases released are to our company’s best commercial interest.
- Ensure all orders are delivered on time, accurately and in good condition.
- Ensure all machinery & equipment are maintained/calibrated on time and are in good condition.
- Ensure stock card represents correct inventory.
- Ensure effective & efficient monitoring of receiving & outgoing activity of materials, equipment, machineries, tools &/or consumable items.
- Ensure Stock Card summary is up to date & corresponds with physical stock quantity.
- Ensure on time delivery for mobilization of machinery, equipment & materials etc.
- Keep the store in an orderly manner.
**Key Functions Purchasing & Logistic**:
**A-Purchasing**
- Raise and send Purchase Orders from various departments and update PO tracking file.
- Ensure all orders must have relevant supporting documents.
- Ensure stock inventory meets requirement.
- Always look for Cost Reduction & Cost avoidance.
- Must be familiar with materials, consumables, equipment, machines and tools.
- Follow up with suppliers for on-time delivery, proper & accurate (quantity) delivery.
- Maintaining a neat and proper filing system in the purchase department.
- Update appropriate records (E.g PO Monthly report) monthly.
- Inspecting consignments to verify if they are in order and as per agreed terms.
- To maintain stock proper control to eliminate material wastage.
**B- Logistics**
- Arrangement of Logistic - transportation and courier services.
- Check, monitor & update the inventory for all incoming and outgoing transaction.
- Ensure stock card summary is up to date & tally with physical stock.
- Ensure DO/ Material / Equipment issue note is acknowledged by receiver before collecting goods.
- Monitor minimum stock level (consumable item) & ensure it is under control as required.
- Monitor & arrange mobilization / delivery of machineries, equipment, materials, tools & etc.
- Monitor & arrange for machinery & equipment’s maintenance activities.
- Ensure stock, equipment & machineries are handled and kept properly and safe.
- On-time submission of Reports.
- Other functions deem appropriate by the company
