- About the Role- Execute end to end boarding process (on, off and cross) for international assignees in accordance with the Operational plan and standard HR Services processes and procedures. Ensures that Master Data for all International Assignee, Executive Leadership and Non-Executive Directors members are updated into the HR system in a timely and accurate manner as well as perform tax clearance activities. Maintains excellent communication across all relevant stakeholders to provide quick and accurate responses to all queries. Delivers training and provides coaching to team members including other team in all relevant HR Services activities.- Key Responsibilities- Maintain good working relationships with peers within the BHP HR community (GAS HR Mobility, Reward team and Global Mobility) and liaise with tax vendor as required
- Recommend improvement initiatives to existing processes, practices and systems
- Collaborate with other HR Services operational teams
- Manage end to end boarding process (on, off and cross) for international assignees for all
- BHP businesses as well as tax clearance activities for International Assignee
- Uploads Master data into HR system for International Assignees
- Validates correctness of master data by performing daily audits and checking
- Provides expert feedback to employees enquiries
- Assists with pre and post pay run data validation processes
- Ensure the integrity of required reporting is maintained in accordance with regional statutory and legislation requirements
- Explain complex reconciliations and provide appropriate levels of troubleshooting and problem solving to complex queries from internal stakeholders and external organizations
- Provide assistance with internal and external audit requirements
- Raise incident request and monitor the resolution update
- About You- Degree or any relevant qualification in Human Resource/Business
- Distinctive proficiency in the payroll and statutory requirements for multiple countries (end to end processes)
- Understanding of International Assignment payroll, tax clearance process and have SAP system knowledge
- Understanding of legislative requirements related to statutory reporting e.g. pension and tax
- Thorough understanding of internal audit controls and SOX controls
