**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Conduct safety inspections, safety patrol, and intervention of unsafe conditions and unsafe acts in order to correct the hazardous condition in the workplace.
- Conduct toolbox meetings and safety induction.
- Ensure that all staff and sub-contractors workers are using suitable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while working at the worksite.
- To ensure the construction teams are meeting the acceptable quality of materials, processes, and workmanship in the project work as per QA/QC Plan.
- Comply with all Safety & Health requirements in sites and to ensure workers are working in safe and healthy condition.
- Assist Safety Officer on safety matters, procedures and specifications as required by client.
- Perform inspection on the tools and equipment used by contractor.
- Assist Project Manager and identify any safety issues during project execution.
- Check inventory of the first aid box weekly.
- To prepare Safety Reports and attend Safety Meetings at site.
- Ensure all equipment/machinery are complying with safety requirement and safe to be used.
- Notify superior if there is any urgent or emergency in site if necessary.
- To involve in incident investigation if there is any incident at site.
- Ensure workers’ passport, working permit, CIDB or any other necessary documents are always valid to work at site.
- To perform any ad-hoc duties or assignment when assigned by Superior.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum three (3) years of on-site working experience.
- Able to write / communicate in English
- Post own transport and able to work independently.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
